D: I know…

D: Robert this role why was so different why was so interesting for you tell me something…Robert questo è un ruolo molto diverso per te…dimmi perchè ti è piaciuto…
R: It didn’t seem to follow a traditional path in which every almost every single scripts seem to follow the same trajectory and this didn’t at all you know the character felt very real an I think that’s why I read so many scripts and everything just seems like oh this is written to be a film this is sad part this is the bit where you laugh this is where you cry and in this you don’t know where you’re supposed to do anything I think that’s why I quite like it
La sceneggiatura non seguiva il percorso tradizionale in cui ricadono praticamente tutti i copioni che ho letto…questo era diverso, il mio personaggio è molto realistico… credo che sia per questo che mi sia piaciuto. Tutte le altre sceneggiature le leggi e pensi: questo è scritto per diventare un film, questa è la parte triste, qui si ride..qui bisogna piangere, e in questo invece non si sa dove si deve fare niente…è per questo che mi è piaciuta!
D: Robert you were in Rome twice, right? Robert tu sei stato a Roma due volte, giusto?
R:… I’ve been twice for yeah I went there I went for New Moon as well didn’t I ? I think cant’ remember!
Ci sono stato due volte…sì direi di si…ci sono andato anche per New Moon, giusto? Non mi ricordo!
(si mette le mani nei capelli!)
D: Do you have a different reaction when you go to different places or there is the same hysteria everywhere you go?
La gente ha reazioni diverse a seconda di dove vai o c’è la stessa isteria dappertutto?
R: I mean The strange thing about the first time I went to Rome it was the first time I ever had any of it so initially I though about Twilight this is just like it just had tons of Italian fans and no fans everywhere! The first time we went to Japan people were quieter and this time when we went for new moon everybody was crazy and all the organizers were like Japanese audiences don’t react like this to anyone and so I was like wow I mean I think people just like screaming it’s a good excuse to scream!
La cosa strana di quando sono andato a Roma per la prima volta è che per era la prima volta in assoluto che facevo una cosa del genere…quindi ho pensato che Twilight avesse un casino di fan italiani e solo in Italia! Invece la prima volta che siamo andati in Giappone la gente era calma, ma quando ci siamo tornati per New Moon sono impazziti e gli organizzatori ci hanno detto: i giapponesei non fanno così per nessuno! Ho pensato…wow! Mi sa che alla gente piace urlare e questa è una buona scusa per urlare!
